Welcome to AlightSpace ("AlightSpace," "we," "our," "us"). These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the LDF website, AI moodboard generator, marketplace integrations, designer collaboration tools, Happy Space donations, and related services (collectively, the "Services").

By using the Services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, you must stop using the Services immediately.

2. Eligibility

• You must be 13 years or older to use LDF.
• Users under 18 confirm their use complies with local laws.
• You may not use the Services if prohibited by applicable law.

3. Privacy Policy

Your use of LDF is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, store, and share your data.

4. Account Registration

To create an account, you must:

• Provide accurate information
• Maintain secure access credentials
• Not create multiple accounts
• Not share or sell your account

We may suspend accounts that violate these Terms.

5. AI-Generated Content Disclaimer — No Professional Advice

LDF provides AI-generated interior design renders, moodboards, and conceptual design suggestions. You acknowledge that:

• AI outputs may be inaccurate, approximate, or unrealistic
• AI suggestions are not architectural, construction, engineering, electrical, plumbing, or safety advice
• All measurements must be independently verified
• Renovations must comply with local building codes and landlord requirements
• Professional installers should be consulted for structural changes

LDF is not responsible for property damage, unsafe installations, or misuse of AI outputs.

6. User Responsibilities — Safety, Accuracy & Compliance

Users are fully responsible for:

• Ensuring uploaded photos accurately represent their space
• Verifying measurements before purchasing or installing items
• Ensuring compliance with building codes and safety regulations
• Confirming product compatibility, sizing, and clearances
• Using licensed professionals for renovations or installations

7. User Content & Uploads

When you upload images or content, you confirm:

• You own the content or have legal rights to upload it
• Content is lawful, non-infringing, and appropriate
• You grant LDF a limited, revocable, non-exclusive license to store, process, and display your content solely to deliver the Services

We may remove content that violates these Terms.

8. DMCA Copyright Takedown Policy

If you believe material on LDF infringes your copyright, send a DMCA notice to: info@alightspace.ai

Your notice must include:

• Identification of infringing content
• Proof of ownership
• Your contact information
• A sworn statement of accuracy

We may remove content pending investigation.

9. Credits System & Refund Policy

LDF uses a credit-based access system for AI features:

• Credits are digital access rights, not currency
• Credits are non-refundable except where required by law
• New users receive 100 total credits
• Guests may generate 2 free renders
• Signing up unlocks full remaining credits
• Each render (or regenerate) consumes credits

Credits cannot be redeemed for cash, transferred, resold, or exchanged.

10. Donations (Non-Refundable)

Happy Space donations:

• Are voluntary
• Are processed by third-party payment processors
• Are non-refundable
• May not be tax-deductible unless specifically stated

LDF controls the allocation of donation use.

11. Payments — Credits & Donations Only

LDF only processes payments for credits and donations. LDF does not process product purchases.

Product checkouts occur on external vendor sites. All external transactions are governed by the vendor's terms.

12. Marketplace & Third-Party Vendors

LDF displays recommended products based on AI moodboards. You acknowledge that:

• LDF is not the seller
• LDF is not responsible for vendor pricing, shipping, product accuracy, or refunds
• Vendor terms and policies govern purchases
• LDF may earn affiliate commissions

13. Designer Collaboration

Designers on LDF are independent contractors, not employees. Therefore:

• LDF does not control designer conduct
• LDF does not guarantee designer performance or timelines
• Designers are responsible for their own taxes, invoices, and earnings
• Communication must remain on-platform

LDF is not liable for disputes between users and designers.

14. Beta Features Disclaimer

LDF may release early-stage or experimental features. Users acknowledge that:

• Beta features may behave unexpectedly
• Performance may vary
• LDF may modify or remove these features at any time

15. Prohibition on Using LDF Outputs to Train Other AI Models

Users may not:

• Scrape
• Collect
• Export
• Download in bulk
• Systematically save

AI outputs from LDF for the purpose of:

• Training machine learning models
• Creating derivative AI systems
• Developing competing services

This protects LDF's intellectual property and training data integrity.

16. Platform Availability

LDF may, at any time, without liability:

• Suspend, modify, or discontinue any part of the platform
• Restrict access due to maintenance or technical issues

No refunds or compensation are owed for downtime.

17. Storage & Deletion of AI Images

LDF is not obligated to permanently store:

• Uploaded images
• Renders
• Moodboards
• Saved projects

Users may request deletion via: info@alightspace.ai

Backups may persist temporarily for security, fraud prevention, or legal compliance.

18. Data Retention

LDF retains data only as long as needed:

• To provide Services
• To meet legal obligations
• For security and fraud prevention

Data may be anonymized or deleted upon account removal unless retention is legally required.

19. Feedback & Suggestions

Any ideas, suggestions, or feature recommendations submitted to LDF:

• Become the property of LDF
• May be used freely without compensation
• Are considered non-confidential

20. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, LDF is not liable for:

• Indirect damages
• Consequential damages
• Lost profits
• Emotional distress
• Property damage resulting from design decisions
• Vendor or designer issues
• Data loss

Total liability is capped at the greater of:

• USD $50, OR
• Amount paid to LDF in the past 12 months

21. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless LDF from claims arising out of:

• Your uploads
• Your misuse of LDF
• Violations of these Terms
• Disputes with vendors or designers

22. Mandatory Arbitration (Delaware)

All disputes arising from these Terms will be resolved through binding arbitration in Delaware.

• No class actions
• No jury trials
• No consolidated claims

This arbitration clause replaces your right to sue in court.

23. Right to Modify Terms

LDF may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Services constitutes acceptance of updated Terms.
